Instructions
  1. Bring 12 ounces of water to a boil.
  2. Add 1/8 teaspoon of Cascara Powder.
  3. Cover, reduce heat, and allow to simmer for 15 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
  5. Strain and drink.

Note: Sacred Bark is a stimulant laxative for occasional constipation, not an everyday cleansing herb. Use short-term only, no longer than seven days without medical guidance. Avoid during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Drink your tea preferably in the evening, and drink enough spring water for the day, preferably half your body weight in ounces. So, if someone is 100 lbs, they would drink 50 ounces of water. For occasional use only. Not intended for long-term use.

Upful Tip:

Cascara supports gentle elimination. Be sure to stay hydrated and nourish your body with mineral-rich foods or herbal blends to support electrolyte balance and optimal detoxification. Our Sea Elements blend is a great addition for minerals and electrolytes. Consuming coconut water is also great.

Do not use if you have abdominal pain, diarrhea, or intestinal obstruction. Not for use during pregnancy or while nursing. Prolonged use may lead to dependency or loss of electrolytes.

    The taste is unlike anything I’ve ever tasted. Hard to swollen. I have to dilute it and I can do just about any tea with no sweetener. Not this one so I have to drink it in small doses. I say all of that to say it works!!! Cleaned me out almost immediately. I believe this is something I would do every 2 to 3 months. I wish the taste wasn’t so harsh.
