Do I need to consume Vitamin C in order to absorb the iron
efficiently?

100 g of Schizandra contains about 50% of the recommended daily intake of vitamin C. Per 100 g of the roots, you can get anywhere from 3-5% of daily Vitamin C. This is why it assimilates in the body easily with no bloating or constipation compared to over-the-counter iron supplements. 

When is the best time to consume this blend?

You can consume the herbs any time of day. We recommend first thing in the AM to help give your system a boost. We recommend before a meal to support your liver and spleen in assimilating the food.

Can I consume this any other way?

Absolutely! You can use the herbal blend as tea, pour the powder or tea version in your smoothies, or pour into your soup for a nutrient packed meal.
