Taste: Sweet, tart, and slightly astringent.

Instructions

Tea:

  1. Heat your pot of spring water till it boils. 
  2. Add 1 tbsp of berry for every 1 cup of water.
  3. Let simmer on low with a lid to cover for 15-20 minutes. Add water if needed as it will evaporate as it boils.
  4. Strain and enjoy! Add sweetener if you desire

    I did find that the vitamin C that occurs in elderberries really helped in boosting the iron supply from the Food for Blood blend tea. Both were tasty with the right amount of agave, for the elderberry tea I started to add a little apple cider vinegar. Was soothing during those recent winter nights. Not sure how to describe the scent.
