Consumed as a tea, taken in capsule form, used as a poultice on wounds. Soaked in water for a couple of hours and added to wounds to support in healing.
(16+ years.) Take 3-4 pieces of bark and add it to 3 cups of water. Allow it to boil. Simmer on low for 30 minutes. Allow to cool and consume 1-3x a day. Barks can be reused until the water is clear. On average, at least 5x.
If on medication speak with your doctor before consuming. While Cuachalalate can prevent the formation of cavities, it cannot heal a cavity that has already formed. If you have a cavity, visit a dentist to have it filled and cleaned.
